I've attended several holiday parties recently and in one of those parties they served matcha flavored cupcakes for dessert. They were a huge hit and I wanted to have them for a party I was hosting. So I did some research online for some recipes and found several. My next step was to find some great matcha to pair with it. I decided to use this product as a flavor to my cupcakes and frosting. The flavor was robust, so it was perfect for a not-too-sweet cupcake flavor and frosting. If you need to sweeten your batter more, you may want to adjust the sugar measurement in your mixture, depending on your preference. But for those who want to retain the taste of green tea, the most standard cupcake base or batter will do and I used about 4-5 tablespoons of this powdered tea. The balance was just perfect for my taste. I need to transfer the remaining powder into separate ziplock containers to ensure that it's still fresh for my next cupcakes.
